CONTEXT AND REASONS FOR THE LAWYERS TO BE ANGRY REGARDING THE PENSION REFORM´S PLAN By refusing any dialogue, the government bears sole responsibility for the consequences of this movement on the functioning of justice and on the rights of citizens. The strike will begin on Monday January 6 and will last one week. It may be renewed. The national slogan provides for an expanded system of action methods (see below), which each Order can adapt and / or supplement. The French NCB (CNB) therefore invites lawyers to get in touch with their Bâtonniers and / or their unions to learn about the local procedures for bar-by-bar action. The modalities of actions proposed by the representatives of the profession are the following:  -decree of designations for all penal offices and for police custody; -decree of designations with regard to the litigation of liberties, the right of foreigners and minors; -decree on designations in criminal matters concerning correctional and criminal instructions; deciding on the designations for the various offices linked to access to the law; adoption of legal aid designations; more generally, all designations are stopped.  THE 70,000 LAWYERS IN FRANCE ARE CALLED UPON TO JOIN THE STRIKE AGAINST THE PENSION REFORM-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  -Systematically request, from January 6 and until further notice, collegiality in civil matters (art. 814 and 815 of the CPC applicable from the entry into force of Decree No. 2019-1333 of December 11, 2019 reforming the Civil Procedure) ; -Systematically request referrals for all criminal hearings, including hearings before the Assize Court; request referrals before all civil, commercial, labor and administrative hearings; more generally to cease all judicial activity, whether in criminal, civil or administrative matters, and -Systematically request referrals. In accordance with the deliberation of the general assembly of the CNB of December 13, all the lawyers of France are moreover called to join all the movements and mobilizations which tend to defeat the project carried by the government.
